Samantha Prahalis scores 18 in return to lead Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Samantha Prahalis scored 18 points and had eight assists in her return to pace No. 7 Ohio State to a 80-47 victory over East Tennessee State on Monday night.

Prahalis, an All-Big Ten point guard in 2009-10 as a junior, was suspended the first three games this season for NCAA secondary violations.

She started against the Lady Buccaneers (2-2) and had her first assist 26 seconds into the game and her first basket, a layup, came 2 1/2 minutes later on her second shot.

The Buckeyes (4-0) trailed 20-19 with seven minutes left in the first half but reeled off 17 straight points heading into the break.

Jantel Lavender had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Buckeyes and Tayler Hill added 16 points.

Natalie Pickwell had 16 points for ETSU.
