AMES, Iowa -- Anna Prins had 14 points and 10 rebounds, freshman Hallie Christopherson added 13 points and Iowa State (No. 15 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) pounded winless Columbia 73-27 on Sunday.
Kelsey Bolte had 11 points for the Cyclones (7-2), who bounced back from a 22-point loss at No. 19 Iowa with a dominating effort over the Lions.
Iowa State struggled early, but a 12-0 run late in the first half helped the Cyclones take a 31-14 lead. Jessica Schroll opened the second half with a 3, and Christopherson's layup with 12:51 left put Iowa State ahead 46-19.
It was the 53rd straight non-conference home win for the Cyclones, who led by 72-21 with 2:35 left.
Melissa Shafer had 11 points for Columbia (0-9), which shot 16.1 percent from the field and went 4 of 31 inside the 3-point line.
