BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Senior guard Erica Allenspach scored a game-high 34 points as Marist (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) defeated Siena 60-45 in the semifinals of the MAAC tournament Saturday at the Webster Bank Arena.
The Red Foxes (28-2) have won 25 games in a row, the nation's current longest women's winning streak.
Marist will face Loyola, a 50-47 winner over Manhattan, for the MAAC championship and automatic NCAA berth Monday.
Marist struggled through a tough first half, hitting just 34.5 percent of its shots. That allowed Siena to stay close, trailing 25-22 at halftime.
Allenspach, who had 15 points in the first half, sparked a 14-4 run in the first nine minutes of the second half and pushed the Red Foxes to a double-digit lead.
Serena Moore led Siena with 17 points. The Saints finished their season at 14-16.
