LUBBOCK, Texas -- Shauntal Nobles scored 11 points off the bench and Kierra Mallard grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Texas Tech (No. 19 AP) to its 800th victory, a 76-43 win over Central Arkansas on Saturday.
Texas Tech never trailed after scoring the first eight points of the game and led by as many as 36 points in the second half.
Kelsi Baker added 10 points for the Lady Raiders (4-0), who had 11 players score.
Megan Herbert had 15 points for the Sugar Bears (4-1), who shot 24 percent from the field.
Texas Tech led 36-22 at halftime.
The win moved the Lady Raiders into a tie with Connecticut for the 14th most all-time.
