Associated Press

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Lydia Bauer hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points, sending Wisconsin-Green Bay (No. 16 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) to a 72-65 victory over Toledo on Thursday night.

Julie Wojta added 17 points, including the final basket in a 12-0 run that broke the game open early in the second half. It was the second time this season that Green Bay (8-0) beat Toledo, the reigning WNIT champions.

Sarah Eichler made four 3s and scored 14 points for the Phoenix.

Andola Dortch had 18 points for Toledo (5-3), including 11 at the free throw line. The Rockets had their 22-game home winning streak snapped by a Phoenix squad that beat them 84-68 in Wisconsin on Nov. 16.

Down 32-30 entering the second half, Green Bay used a 12-0 run to go ahead 45-37. Bauer scored the first five points and Eichler followed with five more before Wojta hit the final basket with 13:26 to go.

Bauer's 3 capped a 12-2 run by the Phoenix later in the half that boosted their lead to 68-54.
