Jordan Farmar, Troy Murphy sidelined

CHICAGO -- The New Jersey Nets held backup point guard Jordan Farmar out of Friday's game against the Chicago Bulls because of a bruised right knee.

The knee has bothered Farmar for more than a week, and the team is awaiting the MRI results.

New Jersey is also without forward Troy Murphy, who stayed at the hotel with a viral infection and flu. Coach Avery Johnson says Murphy will fly home and miss the game at Minnesota on Saturday.

Swingman Stephen Graham, who needed eight stitches to fix a cut on the lip he suffered against the Oklahoma City Thunder, is in the lineup.
