NEW YORK -- Chauncey Billups was back in the starting lineup for the New York Knicks' 106-93 loss against the Indiana Pacers, who were without leading scorer Danny Granger.

He scored nine points and had four assists in 35 minutes.

Billups missed six games with a bruised left thigh, but practiced Saturday and was playing Sunday for the first time since he was hurt March 1 when he banged into Orlando's Dwight Howard.

Granger, averaging 20.6 points, was inactive with the flu and was replaced in the starting lineup by Dahntay Jones.
