CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Pro Bowl nose tackle Kris Jenkins, who missed the first two days of training camp with a hamstring injury, has been cleared to practice Wednesday, the New York Jets announced.

Jenkins will be removed from the active physically-unable-to-perform list.

Jenkins missed most of last season due to major knee surgery. A tendon from his hamstring was used in a graft to help repair the ligament damage in his knee.
