New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck fired back at Rex Ryan, who said in his book that the Jets are a "better team" than the Giants and a "big brother" to Big Blue.

"I'm gonna say this and this is gonna be the last time I comment on anything Rex Ryan says. The last time I checked, I have a Super Bowl ring and he doesn't, so if he's proud of coming up short, I guess he should be proud of that," Tuck said in an interview with the New York Post.

Ryan wrote in his book "Play Like You Mean It" that the Jets were better than the Giants, who share a home stadium with the Jets. "I know it's going to [tick] off Giants fans, but ... we are the better team. We are the big brother," Ryan wrote. He also wrote that the Jets are "going to remain the better team for the next 10 years. Whether you like it or not, those are the facts and that's what's going to happen."

The Jets will get a chance to back their coach's words on Christmas Eve when they face the Giants at the New Meadowlands Stadium. The Jets will be the home team. Tuck's assertion that Ryan doesn't have a Super Bowl ring isn't accurate. Ryan won a ring with the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. Tuck was a pivotal piece in the Giants' Super Bowl XLII win over then Patriots.
