NEWARK, N.J. -- New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur will miss his second straight start with a bruised right elbow.

Brodeur skated on a separate rink Wednesday morning when the Devils held their morning skate before their game against the Buffalo Sabres. He was hurt last Wednesday when hit by a shot in a game against Chicago.

Johan Hedberg will make his second straight start for New Jersey, which recalled goaltender Mike McKenna from Albany of the AHL.
