Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Thanasis Antetokounmpo has returned to the Knicks' D League club after the Knicks elected not to sign him to a second 10-day contract. The older brother of Giannis continues to pursue his NBA dream rather than head to Europe. Have to admire his determination.

The first goal for Kurt Rambis? To get the Knicks' defense to improve. Rambis referenced the team's slide on that end of the floor during his press conference. The club ranks 19th in defensive efficiency. Rambis also plans to retain all of Fisher's assistants and may add one more.

Phil Jackson said that "there is a certain amount of levity to Kurt (Rambis)." The implication here is that Rambis' personality differs from that of Fisher, who wasn't known to take a light-hearted approach to his job.
