Johnson (wrist inflammation) on DL

BOSTON -- The New York Yankees have placed Nick Johnson on the 15-day disabled list with inflammation in his right wrist.

Johnson is expected to be out "several weeks,'' Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said through a spokesman.
