Mara: LT situation 'sad, disheartening'

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- John Mara didn't want to say much about the Lawrence Taylor situation, but the sadness on his face was evident.

While at a news conference revealing New York and New Jersey's bid for the 2014 Super Bowl on Wednesday, Mara was asked about Taylor, who was arraigned last week on charges of third-degree rape and patronizing a prostitute.
