Giants' Boss to have ankle surgery

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right ankle Monday, the team announced.

Boss is expected to be out four to six weeks for the procedure, which will clean out debris in his ankle.

Coach Tom Coughlin expects Boss to be back in time for training camp at the start of August.

"The idea was to try to put him into the season without the pain, on a weekly basis-type stuff," Coughlin said.
