Teixeira's X-rays come back negative

NEW YORK -- After being forced to leave Tuesday night's game with a bruised left foot, Mark Teixeira believes he will "probably" be able to play on Wednesday.

"I fully expect to be in there," Teixiera said after the Yankees' 3-1 victory against the Orioles.

On Tuesday, Teixeira left after three innings. He originally hurt the foot when he fouled a ball off it in the first inning. He stayed in until the third, but after grounding out, the pain was too much.
