Yanks' pitching coach on personal leave

TORONTO -- New York Yankees pitching coach Dave Eiland is taking a personal leave of absence from the team.

"We'll carry on as business as usual," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "Just as when you have a player go down, we'll make it work."

Bullpen coach Mike Harkey will be the pitching coach until Eiland returns. Harkey, a former major leaguer, has been a pitching coach in the minors with the Padres. Charlie Wonsowicz, an advance scout and the Yankees' head video coordinator, ...
