Nick Swisher (knee) scratched

NEW YORK -- Nick Swisher was scratched from the New York Yankees lineup about an hour before the start of Saturday's Yankees-Blue Jays game with a recurrence of the stiffness and soreness in his left knee that caused him to leave Thursday's game after one at-bat.

Swisher originally suffered the injury, described as a bruise, Aug. 24 in Toronto after he fouled a pitch off the top of his knee. He missed the game the following day and left one other game early before Thursday night. He did ...
