Paul O'Neill: Andy Pettitte a major loss

In the clubhouse as much as on the mound, ex-Yankee says lefty leaves gaping hole

NEW YORK -- Even after all these years, Paul O'Neill doesn't think everyone realizes what the retiring Andy Pettitte would have meant to the 2011 Yankees.

"He's going to be missed more as someone for the younger guys to lean on," O'Neill told ESPNNewYork.com. "He's going to be missed every fifth day, but I still think and feel Andy was the leader and lot of people didn't realize it."
