Alex Rodriguez out of All-Star Game

NEW YORK -- New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will miss the All-Star Game and he underwent a precautionary MRI on his right knee on Friday afternoon, manager Joe Girardi said.

"He's not moving well," Girardi said. "As you know, he's had some soreness in his leg. There wasn't anything (Thursday) that told me he was moving any different, but if he's not playing and we've got time, we might as well get a precautionary MRI."
