GAME 2: JETS 32, JAGUARS 3
Jets pummeled the Jags en route to a 2-0 start.

RUSHING OFFENSE
Time to put Shonn Greene on the hot seat. This was his second straight subpar outing, not what you want to see from your new feature back. The O-line was better than Week 1, but still couldn't control the line -- troubling, considering the Jags used mainly seven-man fronts.
PASSING OFFENSE
Hot and cold day for Mark Sanchez, who made two fantastic throws for TDs and two horrible passes for interceptions. The Jags neutralized Plaxico Burress with their Cover-2, but they couldn't cover Dustin Keller in the seams. He killed them. Another shaky day by RT Wayne Hunter (two penalties).
RUSHING DEFENSE
They held the Jags to 88 yards through three quarters, before real garbage time. The Jets used eight-man fronts, occasionally showing a "46" look. The Jags were predictable, running most times out of a two-back set. Easy pickings for the Jets, who held Maurice Jones-Drew to a quiet 88 yards.
PASSING DEFENSE
The Jets made a pedestrian passing attack look really, really bad -- four interceptions. Antonio Cromartie and Darrelle Revis clamped down the outside, forcing QB Luke McCown to throw inside the numbers. Without injured TE Marcedes Lewis, he had no chance.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Really, this was a wash. The Jets had one moment -- a 46-yard kickoff return by Cromartie, who eventually is going to break one for a touchdown. Another perfect day for Nick Folk, who was 3-for-3.
COACHING
Can you believe it? The Jets finally scored a first-quarter TD. Rex Ryan showed confidence in the offense (for a change) by electing to receive instead of deferring. He gets the "minus" for putting Sanchez in harm's way, calling a pass just to get Burress a catch. No quibbles with the defensive plan.
