Said Cowboys reporter Todd Archer: "The strange part was Dez Bryant kept going after Tyler Patmon after many people tried to break it up. ... After practice, they got together, they shook hands, they hugged, they said they squashed it, and they're moving on."


Dez Bryant, Tyler Patmon in camp scuffle

Bryant and CB Tyler Patmon got into the first fight of Cowboys training camp today. Both lost a helmet, and neither player appeared to back down. Teammates and Cowboys staffers eventually stepped in to restore order, with QB Tony Romo trying to get Bryant under control.

The Bengals DE was carted off the practice field in today's training camp session. A team source told ESPN's Josina Anderson that Johnson sprained his MCL and "will be good in a few weeks."

Richie Incognito Ahead of the Game

Rex Ryan named Incognito the Bills' starting LG, and he's pleased with what he's seeing. "Rex has said he’s been blown away with what Richie’s done so far in training camp," said ESPN's Mike Rodak.


Steelers WR undergoes surgery

Martavis Bryant will miss several days of training camp following a minor procedure to remove an elbow infection. "He should be back to us sooner rather than later," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. Story

Boykin clarifies Kelly remarks

Brandon Boykin was traded from the Eagles to the Steelers on Saturday and told CSN Philly that Eagles coach Chip Kelly was "uncomfortable around grown men of our culture." At Steelers practice today, he said: "When you're a player, you want to be able to relate to your coach off the field. There were times he just didn't talk to people. ... About an hour into Sunday's training camp, the Bengals DE left the field with a knee injury following a drill that featured only RBs, defensive linemen and LBs. He was taken into Paul Brown Stadium for further evaluation.

Seahawks fill newly-vacant spot

Seattle added depth to its roster by acquiring CB Mohammed Seisay from the Detroit Lions for an undisclosed 2016 draft pick. The 25-year-old appeared in 13 games with Detroit. The Seahawks cut DT Tony McDaniel earlier today. Story

Twitter star's Chiefs career cut short

LaVance Taylor, who signed with the Chiefs after asking the team to sign him on Twitter, was waived today. Taylor rushed for 1,962 yards and 15 touchdowns last season at Central Missouri.

Redskins GM defends Galette signing

Redskins GM Scot McCloughan said of LB Junior Galette, who was signed on Friday: "The decision was made because we really believe he's a Redskin, and that's why we signed him."
