Do NFL teams investigate enough?

In regards to vetting potential players with sexual violence charges or accusations against women, ESPN's Jane McManus says teams have a blind spot: "After months of education on sexual assault and domestic violence, NFL teams still don't seem to be ready to sit down and talk to women." Hey Patriots' picks, no time for partying

Bill Belichick's message? "Welcome to the NFL. ... They'll get a big dose of New England Patriots football over the next whatever we've got, six weeks -- however long it is. Rivers trade-talk story doesn't add up

Philip Rivers wants you to believe he has no idea where the trade talk began. He wants you to believe he had no interest in being traded before the NFL draft. He wants you to believe that the speculation about his future was nothing more than media hype, and that his hands and conscience are clear. Jim Trotter isn't buying it
