Hall of Fame OT St. Clair dies at 84

Bob St. Clair, who played all 11 of his NFL seasons with the 49ers and made 5 Pro Bowls, died today. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990 and had his No. 79 retired by the Niners in 2001.

Hardy wants charges erased

Cowboys DE Greg Hardy filed a petition today to have his domestic violence charges expunged from his record. He was found guilty of assaulting and threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, but the charges were later dropped.

Weddle skips Chargers' workout

Safety Eric Weddle did not report to the 1st day of voluntary workouts. The 3-time Pro Bowler is unhappy the team hasn't discussed an extension. "I feel highly, highly disrespected," Weddle told the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Rivers reports to Chargers workouts

Despite rumors that he could be traded to the Titans for the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, QB Philip Rivers reported to the first day of voluntary workouts. Rivers is in the final year of his deal and has indicated a desire to play out his contract rather than sign an extension.

Cooper ranks No. 1 among receivers
