COWBOYS USE BIG PLAYS TO BEAT RAIDERS

Thanksgiving in Dallas was not merely a turkey-fest, but a big-play-fest, as five different Cowboys players turned in plays from scrimmage gaining 40-or-more yards in their 24-7 win over the Raiders. Felix Jones had a 46-yard run and Tashard Choice had a 66-yarder; Miles Austin had a reception gaining 49 yards, Jason Witten produced a 44-yarder, and Marion Barber a 42-yarder. It was the first NFL game in more than 20 years in which five different teammates each gained 40-or-more yards on either a run or a reception. On Sept. 24, 1989, Mike Ditka's Bears beat the Lions, 47-27, with Neal Anderson producing a 53-yard run while four teammates (Dennis McKinnon, Cap Boso, Glen Kozlowski and Ron Morris) each had receptions gaining at least 40 yards.
