Here is the latest news on key injuries for Week 3 of the 2008 NFL season.

Arizona Cardinals

Linebacker Travis LaBoy was limited in Friday's practice, but he expects to play despite an ankle injury that has him listed as doubtful. Tight end Jerame Tuman is questionable with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the first two games. He has a chance to be active. Wide receiver Steve Breaston (hamstring) and tackle Levi Brown (knee) are probable and will play.

Atlanta Falcons

Even though five players are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, there is a good chance all will be healthy. The Falcons added offensive lineman Tyson Clabo as questionable because of an elbow injury suffered in Thursday's practice. Also listed as questionable are defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee), linebacker Michael Boley (neck), center Alex Stepanovich (back) and tackle Todd Weiner (knee). Rookie left tackle Sam Baker was upgraded to probable after missing some practice time this week with a concussion.

Baltimore Ravens

Nose tackle Kelly Gregg's return from knee surgery remains stalled. He was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Browns along with quarterback Troy Smith. Smith is coming back from a tonsil infection that caused him to lose 20 pounds. Cornerback Fabian Washington is doubtful because of a bulging disk in his back. Linebacker Nick Greisen is questionable with a leg injury. He had limited practice on Wednesday but hasn't been able to do anything the past two days. He probably will miss the game. Tight end Todd Heap (wrist), wide receiver Yamon Figurs (hamstring), tackle Marshal Yanda (knee) and cornerback Corey Ivy (ankle) were among seven players listed as probable.

Buffalo Bills

Except for tight end Derek Fine, who is out following thumb surgery, all is fine with the Bills. Wide receiver Roscoe Parrish (knee) and cornerback Terrence McGee (back) had full practices Friday and are probable for the Raiders game.

Carolina Panthers

Starting left tackle Travelle Wharton will miss his second consecutive game because of an MCL knee injury. He wasn't able to practice this week. Geoff Hangartner will start in his place. Wide receiver Ryne Robinson is doubtful and expected to miss a third consecutive game because of a knee injury. The Panthers added safety Chris Harris to the injury report Friday with a thigh injury. He's questionable. Also listed as questionable are defensive end Tyler Brayton (ankle), linebacker Na'il Diggs (shoulder), cornerback Chris Gamble (arm), defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu (illness) and cornerback Richard Marshall (thigh), but most of them -- if not all -- should be able to play.

Chicago Bears

Wide receiver-kick returner Devin Hester didn't practice Friday and remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Bucs because of rib cartilage damage. Odds seem to favor him missing the game. Safety Craig Steltz is doubtful with an ankle injury. He didn't practice Friday. Out are tackle Chris Williams (back) and safety Brandon McGowan, who is headed to the injured reserve list because he is facing ankle surgery. The team is expected to add linebacker Joey LaRocque to the roster before Sunday to help out on special teams. Defensive tackle Tommie Harris is probable with a knee injury.

Cincinnati Bengals

Already missing safeties Dexter Jackson (thumb) and Herana-Daze Jones (hamstring) because of injuries, the Bengals may be without one of the top cornerbacks. Johnathan Joseph missed practice Friday because of a sprained ankle and is listed as doubtful. David Jones would be the starter in his place. Tight end Ben Utecht is also expected to miss the game versus Baltimore because of a chest injury. He's listed as doubtful. Defensive tackle John Thornton (knee), safety Kyries Hebert (hamstring) and safety Chinedum Ndukwe (knee) are probable and all are expected to play.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns ruled out safety Sean Jones (knee surgery) and tight end Martin Rucker (knee). Linebacker Kris Griffin is doubtful with a calf injury. Two question marks are wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, who hasn't played in the regular season because of a quad injury suffered in pregame warm-ups of the opener, and guard Eric Steinbach, who has missed practice all week because of a shoulder injury. Wide receiver Braylon Edwards (shoulder) and linebacker Willie McGinest (quad) are questionable but have a good chance of playing. Listed as probable but expected to play are wide receiver Josh Cribbs (shoulder), halfback Jamal Lewis (ankle), defensive end Shaun Smith (hand) and guard Ryan Tucker (hip).

Dallas Cowboys

Tight end Jason Witten plans to play with his separated right shoulder suffered Monday night against the Eagles. Ruled out are safety Roy Williams (broken forearm), fullback Deon Anderson (knee surgery) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (knee). The Cowboys are being cautious about Spencer, who has been experiencing soreness in a surgically repaired knee. He tried to make a case to play this week, but the team wanted to be extra careful not to cause further problems. Wide receiver Sam Hurd is back from an ankle injury, but he's questionable. This is the healthiest the receiving corps has been in a month. Guard Kyle Kosier is back after missing two games with a foot injury. He might be able to start.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos will be without at least two players for Sunday's game against the Saints. Running back Ryan Torain (elbow) is out, and center Tom Nalen had a setback this week coming back from knee surgery. He's expected to miss the game. Wide receiver Darrell Jackson (calf) is out. Defensive tackle Josh Shaw (calf) and linebacker Louis Green (hamstring) will be game-time decisions.

Detroit Lions

The biggest question mark is defensive tackle Cory Redding, who has a mild high ankle sprain. Redding says he is going to play. He did a little work in Friday's practice after missing two days. The other question mark is defensive end Corey Smith, who missed last week with a hamstring problem and has been limited all week. Safety Gerald Alexander said this week he will play despite a concussion. Quarterback Drew Stanton (right thumb) is getting better, but he's the third quarterback. Linebacker Jordon Dizon (neck) and defensive tackle Langston Moore (groin) should also be able to play.

Green Bay Packers

Safety Atari Bigby was ruled out for the Cowboys game because of a hamstring injury. Cornerback Charles Woodson didn't practice Friday because of his broken toe, but he will play. He's listed as probable. The Packers should also have defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (knee) and halfback Ryan Grant (hamstring). KGB didn't practice Friday, but he's listed as probable. Grant had a full practice and is a go for Sunday. Center Scott Wells is probable, but the team has to decide if he will start. He missed the first two games with a back problem. Fullback Korey Hall (knee) and tight end Tory Humphrey (knee) were limited in practice Friday and are questionable. Wide receiver Ruvell Martin (finger) and rookie guard Josh Sitton (knee) are questionable even though they both had full practices Friday.

Houston Texans

Texans coach Gary Kubiak ruled out defensive tackle Travis Johnson (knee) and tight end Mark Bruener (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Titans. Halfback Ahman Green is doubtful because of a foot injury. He hasn't practiced all week and is expected to miss the game. Steve Slaton will start at halfback. Backup tackle Ephraim Salaam will be available despite a knee injury. He's probable.

Indianapolis Colts

Five Colts have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars -- left tackle Tony Ugoh (groin), safety Bob Sanders (high ankle sprain), wide receiver Roy Hall (knee), guard Mike Pollak (knee) and tight end Jacob Tamme (ankle). Defensive tackle Keyunta Dawson (ankle) is questionable and may also miss the game. Defensive tackle Daniel Muir (knee) is questionable, but there is a good chance he will miss the game. Safety Matt Giordano (back) is questionable but he needs to play because of the absence of Sanders. Cornerback Marlin Jackson is probable with a hip injury. Center Jeff Saturday and tight end Dallas Clark practiced all week and should be able to play. This is expected to be Saturday's first start of the regular season. Clark was close to playing last week against the Vikings, but he sat out.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars list wide receiver Jerry Porter as questionable, but coach Jack Del Rio doesn't think he will play because of his hamstring problems. He will be out for the third consecutive week. Listed as out are linebacker Justin Durant (groin), center Brad Meester (biceps), guard Chris Naeole (knee) and wide receiver Troy Williamson (thigh). Running backs Fred Taylor (toe) and Maurice Jones-Drew (ankle) and safety Brian Williams (toe) are probable and will play.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have a very light injury list. Quarterback Brodie Croyle (shoulder) and cornerback Patrick Surtain (shoulder) are ruled out. Tyler Thigpen starts at quarterback with Damon Huard the backup. Rookies Brandon Carr and Brandon Flowers will start at cornerback. Defensive lineman Turk McBride missed practice Thursday with what is reported as a bruised spleen. The team lists him as questionable. Defensive end Tamba Hali suffered a knee injury during Friday's practice and he's listed as questionable.

Miami Dolphins

For the second consecutive Friday, the Dolphins have a healthy roster. Safety Chris Crocker will play despite a neck injury. Guard Shawn Murphy is available despite an ankle injury.

Minnesota Vikings

Running back Adrian Peterson couldn't complete a full practice Friday and had to spend a good portion of time in the training room. He's questionable for the game against Carolina because of a hamstring injury. Coach Brad Childress seems concerned, although he will wait until game time to make a decision. Peterson wasn't available to talk to reporters because he was intensifying his treatment. Wide receiver Sidney Rice tried to practice a little Friday despite a PCL knee injury. He'll probably miss the game. Safety Madieu Williams is out with a neck injury. Wide receiver Aundrae Allison is fighting through a painful foot injury, but he may have to play as the third receiver if Rice can't go. Safety Darren Sharper (shoulder) and left tackle Artis Hicks (elbow) are probable and will play.

New England Patriots

Halfback Laurence Maroney returned to practice after missing two days because of a shoulder injury, but don't count him in for the Dolphins game. The Patriots list him as questionable. His return was critical because running back LaMont Jordan has missed practice all week with a foot injury and probably won't play. He's doubtful. Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk will handle most of the running duties against the Dolphins on Sunday if Maroney and Jordan can't play. The Patriots should have tight end Benjamin Watson and wide receiver-special teamer Sam Aiken for their first action of the season. They have missed the first two games because of injuries, but they have practiced all week. Wide receiver Kelley Washington is doubtful with an ankle injury. Linebacker-special teamer Eric Alexander may be able to play despite a calf injury that sidelined him last week. The odds favor Washington and Alexander missing the game. Alexander is questionable.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints, who ruled out seven players because of injuries last week, scratched six this week. On Friday, Sean Payton scratched linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), wide receivers Marques Colston (thumb) and Terrance Copper (hamstring), cornerback Aaron Glenn (ankle), defensive tackle Antwan Lake (groin) and tight end Mark Campbell (ankle). Cornerbacks Randall Gay (hamstring) and Mike McKenzie (knee), who missed last week's game, will be back. Safety Roman Harper will be back after missing last week with a hamstring. Safety Josh Bullocks (heel), defensive tackle Brian Young (knee) and linebacker Scott Shanle (hand) are expected to play. Halfback Aaron Stecker (hamstring) is questionable.

New York Giants

Even though he's had some swelling on the ankle during the week, Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka is listed as probable and will start Sunday's game against the Bengals. Safety Michael Johnson, who missed practice Thursday with a neck stinger, returned to practice Friday and is probable. He will also start. Cornerback R.W. McQuarters is doubtful with a calf injury and expected to sit out. Kicker Lawrence Tynes (knee) and cornerback Terrell Thomas (hamstring) are questionable but also are expected to miss the game.

New York Jets

There has been little change in the Jets' injury report since the start of the regular season. Wide receiver David Clowney (shoulder) and kicker Mike Nugent (thigh) remain out. Wide receiver Laveranues Coles (thigh), cornerback Justin Miller (foot) and defensive back David Barrett (shoulder) missed practiced time during midweek, but all three will be able to play Monday night against the Chargers. Addressing Miller, coach Eric Mangini said there is a chance he could play.

Oakland Raiders

Darren McFadden will play with a steel plate in his right shoe to protect a painful toe injury. McFadden, listed as probable, expects to play but thinks he's only about 70 percent. More will be asked from McFadden this week because Justin Fargas is expected to miss the game because of a groin injury. Left tackle Kwame Harris will miss his second consecutive game because of a knee injury. Harris and Fargas are listed as doubtful. Mario Henderson starts for Harris at left tackle. Wide receiver Javon Walker missed some practice time this week with hamstring problems. He's probable and will be a game-time decision.

Philadelphia Eagles

Guard Shawn Andrews is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Steelers because of his back injury. He missed practiced all week and isn't expected to play. Wide receiver Reggie Brown is probable after missing two games with a hamstring injury. He should be active, but Andy Reid may or may not start him. Brown is being worked into certain packages and there is a chance he could start. Ruled out are defensive end Victor Abiamiri (wrist) and wide receiver Kevin Curtis (sports hernia). Fullback Tony Hunt (hamstring) and defensive tackle Dan Klecko (hand) are probable and will be available.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Cornerback Deshea Townsend missed Friday's practice and was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Eagles. He will miss his second consecutive game. Bryant McFadden will start for him. Defensive end Brett Keisel (calf) and linebacker Donovan Woods (hamstring) are out. Linebacker James Farrior (back), guard Chris Kemoeatu (ankle) and nose tackle Casey Hampton (groin) are fine. They will play. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a good week of throwing despite a sprain to the AC joint in his right shoulder.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers had a later Friday practice than normal because they are playing Monday night. LaDainian Tomlinson appears to be headed into a game-time decision about whether or not he will play. Saturday will be more of the determining practice. He's missed most of the practices this week because of a toe injury, but he's been saying that he will play. There is a chance left tackle Marcus McNeill could make his 2008 debut. He's missed two games with a back problem. Center Nick Hardwick will miss the game. Nose tackle Jamal Williams will play and get more playing time despite a sore knee.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers scratched two players for Sunday's game against the Lions. Right tackle Jonas Jennings is out with shoulder problems. Barry Sims starts for Jennings. Shawntae Spencer, the team's third cornerback, is out with a knee injury that might require surgery. Cornerback Donald Strickland is questionable with a sore knee.

Seattle Seahawks

Mike Holmgren scratched wide receiver Bobby Engram (knee), halfback Maurice Morris (knee) and quarterback Seneca Wallace (calf), and he doesn't expect wide receiver Deion Branch to play because of a knee injury. Branch is doubtful. Recently signed wide receiver Koren Robinson is questionable with a sore knee. It will be a game-time decision whether right tackle Sean Locklear will play. He's questionable with a knee injury. Cornerback Kelly Jennings (broken rib) and left tackle Walter Jones (hip) will play despite missing practice time this week.

St. Louis Rams

The Rams may be down four players for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Wide receivers Drew Bennett (foot) and Keenan Burton (knee) have been ruled out. Guard Jacob Bell (hamstring) and defensive end Leonard Little (hamstring) are questionable. Bell has only a remote chance of playing. Little is expected to miss the game. Cornerback Ronald Bartell had a full practice Friday and is probable. He will play.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Michael Clayton will start for wide receiver Joey Galloway, who hasn't practiced all week and has been ruled out because of a foot injury. Guard Davin Joseph remains out with a broken foot. Linebacker Derrick Brooks remains questionable with a hamstring injury, but he was able to play last week. He should be able to extend his consecutive game streak to 194. He was limited in practice Friday but felt better than a week ago. Defensive end Gaines Adams (abdomen) and cornerback Aqib Talib (hamstring) are fine. Adams had a full practice Friday. The Bucs added cornerback Marcus Hamilton to the active roster. He comes from the practice squad. Cornerback Elbert Mack lost his appeal of his one-game suspension for a hit on quarterback Matt Ryan last week.

Tennessee Titans

Starting wide receiver Justin Gage was able to do only some straight-ahead running Friday, so he is questionable going into the game Sunday against the Texans. Jeff Fisher will make a game-time decision on whether he plays. Gage has been battling a groin injury all week. If he can't play, Brandon Jones would get the start. Linebacker Colin Allred (ankle) and defensive end Jacob Ford (groin) are questionable.

Washington Redskins

The Redskins are in decent shape for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Wide receivers Malcolm Kelly (ankle) and James Thrash (ankle) practiced Friday. Thrash said he will play. Linebackers Marcus Washington (hamstring) and Khary Campbell (thigh) are listed as questionable, but Washington said he will play. Linebacker H.B. Blades should also be available despite a sore knee. Cornerback Fred Smoot (hip) and safety Kareem Moore (hamstring) are also fine.
