Broncos win statistical battle, lose game

DENVER -- The Denver Broncos won the running back duel, had more total yards and got a better performance from their quarterback.

But what should have been a win over Kansas City on Sunday turned into a 24-23 loss -- Denver's first of the season -- because of some untimely penalties and a spectacular punt return by Dante Hall.
