Packers' Johnson hurt again

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers defensive end Joe Johnson strained his right thigh Sunday and left the game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter.

Johnson was playing despite a strained right triceps that had kept him out of practice much of last week. He convinced the coaches he could play, and the Packers deactivated newly acquired Larry Smith before the game.

With backups Chukie Nwokorie (shoulder) and Aaron Kampman (ankle) also not active, the Packers replaced Johnson ...
