Foster leads the way for Panthers

Stephen Davis has 641 yards rushing, but the most dangerous runner in Carolina might be DeShaun Foster.

INDIANAPOLIS -- So much for the notion that if you stop Stephen Davis, you stop the Panthers.

Davis, who had more than 100 yards in each of Carolina's first five games, was held to 10 yards on eight carries in the first half of Sunday's stunning 23-20 overtime victory in Indianapolis. In the third quarter, Davis' right forearm hit the knee of a Colts defender, sending Davis to an X-ray machine in the RCA Dome that trainers couldn't find.
