Panthers need balance on offense

Efficient play from QB Jake Delhomme and sacking Tom Brady are among the keys to Carolina upsetting New England.

HOUSTON -- Here are my five keys to the Panthers pulling off an upset in Super Bowl XXXVIII:

1. DelhommeThe Panthers will win if quarterback Jake Delhomme can complete three or four passes longer than 20 yards. He did it in the regular season, leading the Panthers to an NFL-best 46 passing plays of 20 or more yards. He also did it against the Cowboys (four pass plays of over 20 yards) and the Rams (six).
