'Skins trade '05 draft pick for Eagles receiver
WASHINGTON --Receiver James Thrash returned to the Washington Redskins on Tuesday in a trade that sent a 2005 fifth-round draft pick to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Thrash began his NFL career with four seasons in Washington before signing a five-year deal with the Eagles as a free agent in 2001. He joins a crowded Redskins receiving corps and could be the No. 3 wideout, behind Laveranues Coles and Rod Gardner.
