Burress injures knee in first Giants practice
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The New York Giants got a scare on Saturday when wide receiver Plaxico Burress was taken off the field during their first practice session with what coach Tom Coughlin described as a hyperextended knee.
But the Giants' major offseason acquisition was back on the field for the team's afternoon practice.
