Agent: Foley remains hospitalized in fair condition
SAN DIEGO -- Chargers linebacker Steve Foley remained hospitalized in fair condition Monday, eight days after he was shot by an off-duty Coronado police officer who suspected him of drunken driving, his agent said.
Foley was shot three times -- twice in the back of the left leg and once on the outside of the left thigh, agent David Levine said in a prepared statement. Foley also has what is believed to be a gunshot wound to his right hand.
