Taylor carrying the load in Minnesota

Chester Taylor was brought to Minnesota to be the featured back and he hasn't disappointed, writes Len Pasquarelli.

If the New England running attack is a duet, with Corey Dillon and rookie Laurence Maroney sharing the tailback duties, its counterpart in Monday night's matchup is the equivalent of a one-man band.

Minnesota Vikings tailback Chester Taylor, acquired as an unrestricted free agent in the spring, has logged 137 carries in six games. The Vikings player with the second-most rushes is quarterback Brad Johnson. No other running back on the roster has more than eight attempts.
