Patriots place second punter on IR this season

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots placed punter Ken Walter on injured reserve Tuesday with a knee injury -- the second punter the team has lost for the season in the past month.

Walter, 34, was signed by the Patriots on Nov. 22 to replace Josh Miller, who is out with an injured shoulder. Walter played in four games, punting 16 times for a 37-yard average with five punts inside the 20.
