Sprained knee keeps All-Pro Polamalu on sidelines
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu sat out his third consecutive game, missing the Steelers' 34-13 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday with a sprained knee.
A Pro Bowl selection the past three years, Polamalu injured the knee Nov. 18 against the New York Jets. He aggravated the injury Wednesday and missed practice Thursday and Friday.
