Carriker to miss minicamp as he recovers from surgery
St. Louis Rams rookie defensive tackle Adam Carriker, the team's top pick in the 2007 draft, could miss all of the offseason training program after suffering a shoulder injury in Sunday's season finale.
Carriker, 23, will undergo surgery next week for a torn labrum. The injury, termed "significant" by coach Scott Linehan, will require about six months of rehabilitation.
