Porter will miss training camp, preseason after hamstring surgery
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jerry Porter is expected to miss part of training camp because of a hamstring injury that hasn't healed.
The Jaguars said Porter underwent hamstring surgery on Friday to repair the problem. According to the team, the surgery was successful and recovery time is six-to-eight weeks. Porter will miss training camp and all four preseason games but is expected to be back for the start of the regular season.
