Wesley agrees to one-year, $730K contract with Raiders

The Oakland Raiders agreed to terms with a familiar face Tuesday by bringing in former Kansas City Chiefs safety Greg Wesley.

Wesley agreed to a one-year, $730,000 deal with the Raiders. He will compete for playing time behind starters Gibril Wilson and Michael Huff.

Wesley, 30, was cut by the Chiefs last week after a year of acrimony. Wesley wanted out of Kansas City since before the 2007 season and was nearly traded to the Chiefs' AFC West rival Denver Broncos.
