Jacobs has MRI exam; Coughlin doesn't believe injury is serious
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs had a precautionary MRI exam on his knee, although coach Tom Coughlin said he didn't think Jacobs had a serious injury.
Jacobs' MRI exam showed no structural damage in his knee. He said on ESPN First Take on Tuesday that he hopes to play in the Giants' game against the Cardinals on Sunday but that the team might hold him out of the game for precautionary reasons.
