Adams returns to Browns

With starting safety Sean Jones testing the free-agent market and likely to leave for another team, the Cleveland Browns have secured a possible replacement.

The team has signed safety Mike Adams, an unrestricted free agent who played the past two seasons with the Browns, to a three-year contract. Financial details were not divulged.
