Browns cut Jurevicius
The Cleveland Browns released veteran receiver Joe Jurevicius Wednesday night following an injury-plagued stint in which knee surgery and a staph infection caused him to miss the entire 2008 season.
Jurevicius, a Cleveland native, signed a four-year deal with the Browns in 2006 and was approaching the final year of his contract with the team. He caught 90 passes for 1,109 yards and six touchdowns in two active seasons with the Browns.
