Eagles finalize contract with Tapp

PHILADELPHIA -- Darryl Tapp is looking forward to a fresh start.

Two days after joining the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade, Tapp signed a three-year contract on Thursday. The Eagles sent defensive end Chris Clemons and a fourth-round pick in next month's draft to Seattle for Tapp.

Tapp's contract is a two-year extension tacked on to the one year he had left on his Seattle contract, with $9 million in annual base salaries and a $3 million signing bonus, a league source told ESPN ...
