Chargers, Reed agree to deal
Just as the San Diego Chargers acquired offensive tackle insurance this week, they have now done the same at wide receiver.
The Chargers reached agreement Friday with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Josh Reed on a one-year deal, the team announced.
Reed, a second-round draft pick out of LSU in 2002, has 311 career catches for 3,575 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Bills.
