Chargers' Jackson suspended 3 games
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Chargers say Pro Bowl wide receiver Vincent Jackson has been suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the 2010 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Jackson pleaded guilty in February to his second DUI since 2006.
"Obviously we're disappointed," Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said in a statement. "Vincent made a mistake and now must deal with the consequences. It's unfortunate, but we'll deal with it and move on."
