Super Bowl ring to be auctioned

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- A former Green Bay Packers lineman whose teams won the first two Super Bowls will have at least one of his championship rings auctioned off to recover some of the $1.7 million the federal government says he owes in back taxes.
Fuzzy Thurston, 77, played for the Packers from 1959 to 1967. Federal marshals have seized his Super Bowl II ring, and authorities are trying to track down his other Super Bowl ring along with other memorabilia to auction off in accordance with ...
