Patriots re-sign Tennant

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots have signed offensive lineman Matt Tennant.

Tennant was with the team earlier in September after being cut by the New Orleans Saints near the end of training camp.

Tennant spent two seasons with the Saints as their backup center and guard.

Tennant went to Boston College. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 draft.
