Court date reset for NFL player casino fraud case
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A judge agreed Thursday to postpone action in a felony case alleging that Denver Broncos safety Quinton Carter added $5 to craps bets after the dice already rolled at a southern Nevada casino.
Carter didn't appear in court while Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Christopher Lee gave defense attorney Andrew Leavitt until Monday to try to settle the case with prosecutors.
