The autopsy report of NFL draft prospect Heath Benedict revealed the 24-year-old died of a heart condition, his agent said.

Agent C.J. LaBoy said he was told by the 4th District Medical Examiner's office in Jacksonville, Fla., that Benedict, a 6-foot-5, 326-pound offensive lineman, died of sudden cardiac dysrhythmia. The medical examiner's office said that Benedict also had an enlarged heart, LaBoy said.

A spokeswoman at the medical examiner's office said Benedict's autopsy was completed there but, because of privacy reasons, they could not comment on the results.

"Heath died of a heart issue," LaBoy said. "It's as simple as that."

LaBoy also said Benedict's body was tested and no traces of drugs or steroids were found.

Benedict transferred from Tennessee and became a standout player at Newberry College in South Carolina. He was considered one of the top sleeper picks in the April 25-26 draft.

Benedict participated in the Senior Bowl in January and at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis in late February. His body was discovered in his parents' Jacksonville home on March 26.
