Brown, a 6-foot-6, 239-pound junior, missed seven games this season with a lower leg strain.
Brown was arguably the most heralded recruit in Southern Miss history and lived up to expectations in his first two seasons with 1,902 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns. But he broke his leg in the final game of the season, and has rarely been healthy since.
Brown had 19 catches for 284 yards and three touchdowns in six games this season, including three for 20 yards in the Beef O' Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl.
Fedora says he met with Brown's family, and that "we support DeAndre's decision and wish him nothing but the best in the future."
