Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins will enter the next NFL draft, a source close to the decision said Thursday.
He is rated as the third-best cornerback and 11th-best prospect overall, according to ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay.
Jenkins, 5-foot-11, 189 pounds, is a lockdown coverage cornerback with 43 tackles and three interceptions this season. He had eight interceptions in his three-year career.
Jenkins missed Florida's bowl game with a torn labrum in his right shoulder. He started 11 games this season and was first-team All-SEC, playing nearly the entire season with the injury.
